@ktovornik no. not with carrie at least. she has plenty of inspirational and fun songs too. some of her hit songs include “just a dream”, “so small”, “all american girl”, “jesus take the wheel”, “wasted”, “temporary home”, “some hearts”, “don’t forget to remember me” =)

I don’t watch American Idol, but have been listening o country lately. My only comment is: “Are all of her songs about getting even with a man”? They all seem bitter or about meeting the wrong man.
Still a good singer. The best from this show!

@msganee07 , sorry, and I know you are not going to like this. But Carrie is the best American Idol by far, and she outdoes Fantasia by mile. We know what happen to Carrie. Where is Fantasia, I don’t here much about her. That’s how good Carrie is.

i’ve watched her winning moment for like 20x already? but it still gives me goosebumps every time! when she said thank you so much and she almost cried, it sounded sooo genuine… carrie is the best! after season 4, i don’t think american idol produced another wonderful performer/artist. KELLY and CARRIE are the only real IDOLS… -

I think it’s funny how no one else has so far become so big a super star as carrie (As Kelly Clarkson came before her she isn’t included in that statement). Yeah, Daughtry (even though he technically didn’t win), Cook, Allen, even Lambert are all big hits, carrie is the only one who consistently wins awards and tops charts (though in all fairness, Allen/Lambert only finished their season a year ago). Idol is starting to lose its tough I feel.
